William (Bill) Maloney is Director of Mack Financial Group’s Jackson Hole office. Prior to joining MFG in May 2013, he was an independent consultant working with MullinTBG in the non-qualified benefit and corporate-owned life insurance business. Bill spent four years (1993-1997) as a Senior Vice President of Liberty Investment Management, an asset management firm. Prior to joining Liberty, he was an investment banker specializing in mergers and acquisitions with Kidder Peabody & Co. Bill joined Kidder Peabody in 1982 after spending seven years with Paine Webber, where he had been involved with the Blyth Eastman Paine Webber mergers and acquisitions group and the Paine Webber Mitchell Hutchins research department. Prior to that, he had been a partner in institutional sales and research at Parker/Hunter Inc.
Bill graduated from Holy Cross College in 1959 and attended business school at McGill University and Duquesne University. He is an Advisory Board Member to the Holy Cross Business Program. Bill currently serves as a Board Member of the Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation, President of the Board of the Teton Literacy Center, Chairman of the Board of Friends of the Bridger-Teton Avalanche Center and as a Member of the Advisory Board for Jackson Hole of Zions Bank. He is a former Board Member of the Jackson Hole Land Trust. He has served on the Advisory Board of a private equity partnership, on the Board of one of its portfolio companies, and as a Board Member of a publicly listed company. He and his wife, Carol, reside in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
